Marketing for photographers can get complicated.
I help unbelievably talented visual artists run their businesses better, market them better, and create an amazing experience for each one of their clients.
About Me
Hi! I am Angela Pointon. Creative work, images and film are my passion, and so that’s where I started my career. I have my bachelor’s degree in photography from Drexel University. I apprenticed under one of the most amazing business women specializing in marketing for photographers, Elyse Weissberg. (Hint: she rep’d Eddie Adams). After her passing, I decided to go back to school to get my Master’s in Business. I fell in love with marketing and business, and found my career settling in at a small marketing agency outside of Philly where I eventually became the firm’s Chief Operating Officer.
I live on the main line in Philadelphia with my amazing architect husband, Jesse, and our two small boys. All of us are vegetarian, and we rock out to fantastically awesome music from time-to-time (especially on Friday nights).
I am a columnist for Professional Photographer Magazine, author at The Modern Tog, and am an adjunct professor for Photography students at Drexel University. In 2013, I released the brief e-book, The Art Of A Photo Business: what every photographer wished they knew before they started their photography business.
